We’re not providing Lola the amount of attention she desires. With a new baby, and a toddler at home, Lola’s demands for attention conflict with our priorities and ultimately we can’t choose her over a crying infant or a needy toddler. At this point, Lola’s starved for attention and therefore has high energy that also makes our house chaotic.

Lola either needs to be the only dog, or have multiple people in the house who will give her attention. So a single person with two dogs would not be a sustainable situation, but a house with two dogs and 2 parents and 2 kids (old enough to play and understand her needs) would work.

Lola has energy. She loves to play and gets the zoomies when she comes in from outside, which is dangerous around our young toddler and newborn. But she knows TONS of commands and we have worked with several trainers over the years so she’s really well behaved beyond the impulse control issues when excited.

Lola is a SNUGGLER! She wants to be in your lap or touching you as much as possible and is SO SWEET. She’s great with dogs, cats, and kittens. She is good with young children but doesn’t understand her size and knocks them down. Woulda be great with kids that can stand their ground and want to play! She loves bubbles, water, her kennel, knows TONS of commands, and would love to meet you!
Lola is an Amazing Companion Because She is:

-Intelligent, and knows many commands: come, sit, lie down, stay, shake, spin, wait, “with me” for heel, slow, off, down, get back, outside, inside
