Misha is a stunning Apricot colored Maine Coon mix cat for adoption in Casa Grande AZ, near Phoenix. Misha is a healthy 7 year old male. He weighs a magnificent 20 pounds, and is neutered, well behaved and litter box trained.

Misha has a very sweet, laid back personality. Nothing bothers him – he just loves to be loved. Misha is happy to be up in your arms, and is a very conversational cat.

Misha loves to talk, and is very welcoming of new people into your home. He is good with cat friendly dogs and well-behaved children.

Misha’s owner is having to rehome him due to financial setbacks that have made moving home to PA with her parents necessary. Unfortunately they have severe cat allergies, and cannot have Misha in their home.

He eats Purina Gentle formula. He eats about a half a cup a day. I give him 1/4 a cup in the morning and then at night. He used to eat a lot more when he was younger but now he mostly nibbles during the day and then eats more right before bed.

Misha’s Personality

He is very docile. Sleeps a lot. Doesn’t care about playing with toys much any more. He loves being held and gives kisses. He talks a lot. Loves having conversations with you. He loves attention and follows me everywhere. He’s pretty skiddish with new people. But once he gets to know you he is happy to see you and affectionate.

It is killing me to have to leave Misha behind but I don’t have any other options right now. I’m moving out of state and I thought I was taking him with me until yesterday when I found out I couldn’t.

I would love to find someone to foster him until I get my own apartment again but I am on the waiting lists for subsidized housing and I don’t know how long it will be. It could be a month. It could be a year. I have no way of knowing. I’ll be living with family until then and Misha can’t stay there. And there is no one else in PA he can stay with.

Why is Misha Being Rehomed?

I am moving out of state in 3 weeks and I found out suddenly that I can no longer take my cat with me.
