. Treble is very perceptive of humans and pretty much is on point. Treble is trustworthy. If he doesn’t like someone and growls, they are not a good person for me to trust. For those that truly love him, he will protect.

He will sit by the door and make sure you are alright and not leave your side. Treble has been around newborn babies until the age of 2+. Treble has never attacked a human (Child or adult-will bark and growl but never try to attack)

Treble likes his solitude, he gets along with cats- after an initial fight, likes to cuddle and fall asleep on your lap, doesn’t like to be picked up, doesn’t really like baths, but will tolerate them, doesn’t like puppies-non-negotiable, extremely scared of thunderstorms and storms in general-needs a weighted blanket or tight hugs.

Even though he is older, he is very spry and energetic, loves to run. He doesn’t like the beginning of walks but gets into it with patience. He gets nervous about nail trims as he had an accident and damaged his dew claw and has been skeptical ever since. Treble has lived through a traumatic house fire but escaped unharmed.

Treble would prefer to be in your lap in a car ride or snuggled in a kennel-does not get car sick. Not fascinated by any toys, balls, Frisbees, etc. – very unimpressed.

Cute Treble Story:

My Son took Treble for a walk and Treble doesn’t really like walks and gets scared of the traffic Somehow, Treble got away from my son and the leash and bolted. After a while my son came back, slumped to the floor because he thought he lost Treble. Much later, Treble was back in the yard and came into the house and saw my son was sad and came over and nuzzled with him until he felt better.

I worked late into the early mornings and would get home around 530 am. Treble would never miss meeting me at the door with enthusiastic energy.
