He does listen when corrected, but he gets excited and doesn’t always wait. He has separation anxiety at times and can bark when left alone. He will growl when uncomfortable but has never shown signs of being a biter.

Excited and curious. Ramsay loves to follow his human around wherever you’ll let him go. He can get high energy when he gets excited but can also lounge in his bed most of the day and relax. Not a dominant male though can come across that way when initially meeting some dogs. He’s really a big baby and very sweet dog.
Ramsay’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Loves small plush squeaky toys. Eats dry food fine, enjoys pumpkin puree and fish oil when added. Also loves chicken and vegetables which he gets on occasion. Gets a dental chew usually daily. Loves fish skin treats. Enjoys following human around wherever you’ll let him go. Happy to be outside with you, usually doesn’t care to be left alone outside. Enjoys car rides but prefers to stand on lap or whines a bit in the back seat.
Cute Ramsay Story:
I got Ramsay when he was 3 years old, he came to me from a home with small children and would growl at the slightest touch. In my care, he has turned around completely and now enjoys affection like any other dog. He is very loyal and loving and wants to be with his human.
Why is Ramsay Being Rehomed?
No longer have home of my own. Living with family who already has 5 dogs and 2 cats. I can no longer provide Ramsay with the time and attention he needs.
Ramsay’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
No kids or cats. Other dogs can be OK, it depends on personality. Someone who is home a lot to be with him would be ideal. Someone who wants a dog to follow them around and be a constant companion would be ideal. Needs fenced yard.

Treasure arrived on his foster owner’s property several months ago, and has been lovingly cared-for in the hope that a new home can be found for this very deserving dog. Throughout this time, Treasure has been discovered to be an amazing dog, with so many characteristics that make him such a special companion. It is unthinkable that someone would abandon this dog in the country. However, as the old adage goes: “One person’s trash is another’s treasure”, and that is where he gets his name.
Treasure’s foster owner describes him as follows:
Calm yet always ready to play (fetch, chase, walking). Very loyal, meaning, the dog wants to go with his master everywhere, including riding in a pickup truck to take the trash to the Recycle Center. Gentle, yet protective of his family, as the dog chases all wildlife out of our yard. He is “skittish” of anyone unfamiliar approaching his house until his master says it’s ok. The dog NEVER barks – in the months I have fostered him the dog has ONLY barked ONCE – at the lawnmower in April, because he thought the riding mower was hurting me since it was so loud. Very attentive to his master – this dog learns very quickly what to do and not to do. Enjoys snuggling, although I don’t snuggle with him, the dog always tries to snuggle with me.
