Meet Fang, An Adorable Orange Tabby Cat For Adoption in Austin Texas
Though his name may sound a little like a cartoon villain, Fang is more hero than bad guy. He is a fairly laid-back cat who enjoys a little quiet time to go with his more friendly activities. He’s even a little shy at times, but only until he gets to know you.

Many times he prefers to nap near you, then sneak up to cuddle when he’s sure that things are quiet. He looks a little wilder than he acts. He does “mellow” like a pro. It’s hard not to smile when you see Fang curled up for a nap or hear his little cat snores. Fang is much more beauty than beast.
His best buddy – Rebel – is also looking for a new home and the two get along famously together. Both the same age, with very different coloring, they make any house a home when they team up to play and amuse their family. They are good playmates and don’t really fight, which is good thing for two cats. Perfect to keep each other company and amused when you don’t have time to entertain them.
Fang and his best friend, a very sweet grey tabby cat called Rebel, are being rehomed by their family. Their owners love them to pieces, but are moving overseas, and don’t want to put them through the stress of a very long flight and quarantine. They are dearly hoping to find the cats a very loving home with cat lovers who will cherish them and keep them safe, happy and healthy.
The boys can be adopted as a bonded pair – or separately. They will be rehomed with all supplies and accessories as well as vet records. All you need to offer is lots of love, a little patience while they adjust to their new environment, and a safe, happy and healthy forever home.

Why is Fang Being Rehomed?
We are about to move internationally (back to our hometown country) , and won’t be able to carry all our cats on the airplane. We think staying here with a warm family is a better choice for him, compared to stucking in a cat carrier for 13 hours or even longer in a flight.

We are looking for people with good temperament and very patient with shy cats. Fang can be very shy and cautious for a long time when he’s in a new place.
Additional Comments:
We are rehoming another cat, Rebel, and he’s always been a good friend with Fang. He is great at getting Fang interested in playing.
They play a lot but not fight. They can be re-homed together or separately. We feel very sorry and bad for leaving them, and hope they can both find some forever families soon.
