Milly is a sweet female dog that loves being around her people. She is content to go on walks on the trails, but is also content to hang out at home and laze around on her doggy bed. Milly is in good health. She tore a ligament in a back leg a year or so ago, but this injury has healed, and she is able to get around just fine. She enjoys mild exercise. Milly would be the perfect companion for retired or senior dog lovers looking for a well-behaved, low maintenance companion to shower with unconditional love.
This pretty large breed senior dog is looking for a forever home through no fault of her own – her owners are faced with an unavoidable move across the globe, and due to Milly’s age and a previous injury, they are worried about how the long period of quarantine in the new country of residence would affect her. They want the best for Milly, and feel that staying in the Calgary area with an amazing new family will be best for her.

Milly is a happy girl who loves go just lounge on her bed. She loves to be outside and play however she doesn’t understand her limits with her leg. Milly gets super excited when her people come home, and she’s been great with the baby. She can be stand-offish with other dogs but warms to them in time.
Why is Milly Being Rehomed?
We a moving to Australia and with her age and injury we don’t feel the stress of relocating so far will be healthy for her.
