Looking for a pre-loved Himalayan cat for adoption near Southeast  Houston and Galveston? This stunning 5 year old purebred female Himalayan cat is being rehomed because her elderly owner has gone into memory care and can no longer take care of her.

Hermione is absolute purr-fection. She weighs 12 pounds and has big blue eyes and a glorious long coat in shades of grey and white. She is in good health and has been spayed, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped (she is an indoors only cat). In some of her photos you may see that she was groomed with a “Lion Cut”, much of the year. Because her owner was a senior, she found it easier to keep Hermione groomed and tangle free with the occasional  lion-cut, but she’s fine with long fur too. Today, her coat is getting long again. She looks adorable either way!

She is good with people and other pets, but her owner wants her to go to a home where she will be spoiled. Ideally with a senior or senior couple. She’s been used to being the center of attention and would love to be the “star” in your home! She’s never had to spend time with other pets, so at age 5 it may be unkind to ask her to adjust.

Hermione is a sweet, gentle and affectionate cat who deserves every tummy rub, treat and play session she gets. Those baby blue eyes are spectacular and almost human looking, so you just know that she can use them to get an extra treat or extra attention if needed.
