This sweet 13 year old senior male is fixed, up to date on shots and ready to love. Lenny is 13 years young, and still has many years of love and companionship to offer.
Lenny’s owner is facing down Cancer for the third time. Originally from Europe, she feels that she needs to be around family, and is moving back overseas. Unfortunately, taking Lenny along would not be easy on him, and she feels that it would be easier for him to find him someone state-side who will cherish him and keep him safe, happy and healthy for the rest of his days. He is such a cuddle-muffin with so much love to offer the right dog lover.

Lenny’s Personality
Lenny is a lover. Always has been. He was the runt of the litter but from the moment he came home with us he became more like Lenny Kravitz. He just has this swagger…half rock star half crooner. He will melt your heart. As he has gotten a little older he is a little slower some days. But he still loves to cuddle play and yes…sit on your feet. He’s not diverted to wanting to give a good face licking!
Lenny’s Current Home Environment
It used to be filled with noisy kids, then teenagers having sleepovers and now it is calm. Lenny loves to chill on his bed or outside in the sun. He still is up for playtime tho. He is allowed in and out of the house at will.
Why is Lenny Being Rehomed?
I am two time breast cancer survivor and unfortunately it has returned. As my children are now 18 and moving onto college I need to be closer this time to my immediate family in Europe. Due to the restrictions of where I will be living I have to put him first.

Lenny is a lover. He may be a little older but he has so much love to give and would only wish that anyone or family who adopts him would love him as much as he will love you. He is a ray of light.

I am single mother of 18 year old twins. Lenny has grown up with them, and they have grown up with the love he has given them. Now they are flying the nest but they never forget all the fun times and joy Lenny has brought to our family.
Lenny’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Lenny loves to cuddle. It’s his favorite thing in the world. Just to be loved and have attention. He loves begging strips as treats..he will take it and hide away to savor every bite and if you’re cooking chicken his nose will lead him straight to the kitchen. His favorite toy is a soft teddy bear who he curls up with most nights.
Cute Lenny Story:
When I was going through chemotherapy I often had days where I simply couldn’t leave the bed. We had made steps so lenny could get up and down of my hight bed. He knew something was wrong. He felt it. He never left my side. He would go down the steps to go out to the bathroom but then he would straight back and sit right next to me or lay on my chest. He was there for me. every single moment.
