I got my brother to qall him and take him and finds now that he has turned aggressive as in don’t like to be told to leave a room or if he is chewing something he isn’t supposed to gets very territorial over it and growls.

We keep baby and him separate and sometimes he gets in and the baby loves him he has never showed any aggression around her but he is a big boy and he still got so much energy as a puppy so we when he gets hyper we like to take him away from baby and if we ask him he tried to hide and if we take him by collar he growls.

He hasn’t been getting much exercise lately due to my daughters medical appointments for her up coming surgery and last night when he tried to play with my dad while he was in bed my dad just pushed him down and said no he then bit my dad it was a nip on the hand and he let go right away then hung his head down knowing he done wrong. After that he slept in bed with dad tried to kiss his face off.

I don’t know if its aggression cause of not getting walks all the time or not being neutered. Myself and fiancé had him doing great but when he got passed around he started showing signs. He had food aggression we had that fixed but then my mom who I also look after is getting Alzheimer’s and we tell everyone not to feed him from table etc. and she is always doing it.

Max needs consistency, structure, someone who don’t mind having a dog tag along as he loves to be by your side. He is a very smart dog actually took me 1 day to house break him as a puppy and 2 days to teach him paw, sit , lie down, roll over. He needs guidance and he will be an amazing dog

All About Max

Max’s Personality

Max has a loving personality, when he see you he will run jump up and wrap his paws around you to hig you ( my brother and fiance got him doing that) and he will like the face off you. He is very outgoing and silly, loves to play, run, go for rides or just be with you. He is very loyal and will protect you from harm as well.

How handsome he is, how loyal he is, how loving he is, but most of all I love hiw silly, goofy and the energetic puppy he is.

Max’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

max like to suck on a blanket, tug a war toys, ball for throwing fetch ( however needs some training on bring it back to you lol) loves chasing laser lights, human food of course, hard food with any fish or seafood flavor in it.

We still find he don’t eat the hard as much so we give him a can of soft food every evening which is the dominion no name brand or pedigree and has to be cuts in gray no pate he wont eat it unless in gravy. we leave hard food down all the time as he only picks at it. Treats would be pigs ears, chicken tenders, duck or salmon tenders, marrow bones, dog bologna, he likes a lot of treats and we also give dental sticks for his teeth

Cute Max Story:

I remember when we just got him and I carried him everywhere cause he was so tiny. My brother had an older female dog who I figured max would take to as he just left his mom. When we got there Max cried like a baby and made me or dad hikd him the whole time cause he was so scared…… it was so sweet he cuddled right into me hid his head in my jacket.

Max gas this way about him that every person he meets he touched them. The area I live in love Max and have nothing bad to say about him only what a dog. He just had too many owners cause if the changes in my life I didn’t see coming when I bought him as a puppy

Why is Max Being Rehomed?

This is so hard for me to face cause Max is my boy, and I feel like O failed him, I promised him a life he deserves and I didn’t keep that promise. I have so much guilt that sometimes I try to walk around block with him 3 or 4 times at midnight cause my daughter is having sleeping issues lately. But when he but my dad I realized if I don’t rehome him to a family or someone who has the time to put into Max then my boy will end up being put asleep and I don’t want that, I can’t have him around baby as I am afraid especially where he growls and ge always growls but dont bite and he sleeps with my dad and bit him recently makes everyone afraid of if he bites the baby or mom. Our daughter is always trying to rub him or give him food and toy so I can’t chance that and want him to have a life where his needs are met and he is loved

Max’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

They have to want him to be a part of their family and let him inside as I don’t believe in dogs being left outside. A back yard would be nice, and I would like for the adoptive family to be active enough to burn off his energy as well as not minding having him with you when your out doing errands.

I would like then to love him and have patience with him to get him to become the dog I know he is. I would also appreciate if I could have updates on how he is and maybe if possible see him once every so often to help with this sudden separation as I feel like I failed him and I’m giving up on him by giving him away so knowing this helps the anxiety of it all and to see my boy happy and content will make me at peace with everything

Additional Comments:

Max is a great dog who needs a confident owner and some training to be the best dog anyone can ask for.
