Ivy has already accomplished much in her short half year of life. She has undergone basic obedience training and has received her diploma. She even graduated magna cum laude! As a post-graduate, Ivy is now involved in one-on-one training and is a star student. She is attentive, eager to learn, and her trainer is SO proud of her progress so far.
She is well on her way to becoming Northern California’s best family dog, and the sky is the limit when it comes to what she can continue to conquer!
Ivy has been spayed, fully vaccinated, house broken, crate trained, micro-chipped and obedience trained. She is good with other dogs, and loves meeting new people, including older, well-behaved children and dog-friendly dogs.

Her owners feel that Ivy (and their other dog) will be happier apart, as spoiled, only dogs, getting all the treats, cuddles, tummy rubs and devotion in the home.
What Kind of Home Is Ivy Looking For?
Compassion and unconditional love are the first and foremost requirements for any dog’s home. For puppies, the new owners should be patient and consistent with positive reinforcement, while ensuring that plenty of playtime, exercise, cuddles and companionship are offered.
Ivy excelled in her basic obedience training classes, and is a natural when it comes to learning – her one-on-one training is also going very well. Her new owners would benefit tremendously, as would Ivy, from continuing her training. The sky is the limit when it comes to Ivy’s capacity to learn and grow. She is doing well with the “nippy” behaviors that puppies, particularly pittie puppies, typically exhibit and is a true star student.
Ivy would do best with an active family with well-behaved children aged 8 and up. She deserves a home with a securely fenced yard for her to romp and play with her family. She will thrive with owners who can give her lots of their time, attention, affection and patience. Ideally, she will active owners who enjoy going hiking, for long walks, and other activities where they can include Ivy will be perfect for her. Preferably, Ivy’s new owners will have experience with bully breeds, but this is not a must. What IS a must is that Ivy will be loved endlessly and supported in becoming the wonderful dog she is meant to be!

Ivy’s Personality
Ivy is extroverted, confident, curious, goofy and loves people! She literally wants to say hello to and kiss every stranger she meets on the street or at the dog park – she is very affectionate and loves everybody she meets. She is 6 months old and potty trained. She is amazing in her crate (sleeps through the night even).
Ivy loves to chase squeaky balls and barks ferociously for her breakfast in the morning – I can’t get her food fast enough! She is playful and likes to chew on sticks and bones. She also loves lick mats.
Ivy graduated from a dog obedience course and is now doing one-on-one training. Her trainer says she is “smart and attentive.” She is eager to learn and to please, and we are making great progress with puppy mouthiness and jumping.

Ivy enjoyed her obedience training graduation and celebration – but the graduation cap? Not so much!
Ivy has figured out it works best to get attention by laying down at your feel and rolling over belly up for pets. She requires moderate exercise and loves to chase other dogs and balls. She does very well at puppy socials and with her doggie daycare pack. Ivy is a very happy girl!
Why is Ivy Being Rehomed?
She is guarding her crate and treats from our other dog, a 7 year old female. We feel it will be best that she be an only dog in her home, as she appears to have some Alpha female tendencies.
