Looking for a Rottweiler American Pit Bull Terrier (Pitbull) mix dog to adopt in Indianapolis, Indiana? Just 2 years old and weighing 50 pounds, Dakota is a great dog that will make an amazing companion for a loving family with a large, securely fenced back yard and lots of time to spend with her.

Dakota is what we call a “ready to love” dog. She has been spayed, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, house-trained, obedience trained, crate trained and leash trained. She already knows a ton of commands, and is an eager and willing student. Dakota is good with people of all ages. She adores children and is welcoming of visitors. Her owners call her a “gentle giant”.

Dakota’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dog. Unfortunately, their landlord has changed the rules, and her breed is no longer allowed.  They are desperately hoping to find a new home for Dakota where this special girl will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life. She deserves a home where she will be appreciated for all of her great qualities, and where she will be a first-hand family member.
