I have the soul of a dancer, and I’m ready to spread my wings, chase a squirrel, and be your devoted family dog. Don’t get me wrong. I love other dogs, but I do need some one-on-one face time with my person too. Yes, I am a “puggle” – all of the best features of a pug and a beagle. Two great dogs in one adorable package!
Ten years old may seem old for some dogs, but not for me! I love being active. If you have kids, they are going to love me. I love a home where there are smaller humans who like to be as active as me.
I am spayed, healthy, all up to date on my shots. I’m only 35 lbs, so I won’t steal your spot on the couch and if you ever need me to go with you in the car, I’m pretty portable. I wear a harness rather than a collar , my “pug” side makes a collar tricky and uncomfortable – but my harness is great! I like to wear it all the time! If I come to live with you, I’ll bring my harness, a leash and my crate. If you want to offer me some things to make me feel at home, some greenie treats and a stuffed animal or two will really impress me! A sunny spot to work on my tan and some room to explore or play outside would be heaven to me.
I am a New York girl who appreciates life in the suburbs & time with my friends and family. I love to be social, make new friends, and give my people lots of attention.
My current situation has me sharing my home with 4 other small dogs and my owner just can’t offer me all of the play time and activity that I need. Walking on the leash with 4 other dogs really does not give me much chance to get athletic, or get creative with new dance moves.
I’d be much happier and healthier in a home where there is more space and somebody free to play with me. I’m a grown-up now and ready to move on to being the dog of the house, rather than just leader of the pack. I would really be thrilled if you have a yard I could play in too!

Why is Ruby Being Rehomed?
We currently have 4 other small dogs in addition to Ruby in the house and I feel that because of Ruby’s size and activity level I can no longer provide her the environment she so much deserves.

I am look for someone who can give ruby the space for her to run and play which she cannot do in the small space we have here. She is very good with children so a family might be a good option for her.
