5 Amazing Things About Bluey:
Playfulness: throwing his ball up in the air and playing fetch with himself.
Couch potato who loves being hugged and petted. (this is heart breaking because i cannot hug him unless i wear gloves and right before I shower)
He sleeps in if he is cued to go back to bed and he does so.
He will watch TV with us, although I now sit on a chair away from him, which is also heart breaking as he loves being hugged during nature programs like National Geographic shows
He loves to listen and will tilt his head side to side
If left home alone he does NOT destroy anything and i leave him with a chew toy i.e. going to see a movie and dinner he does well alone
Bluey’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dog, but circumstances beyond their control have made rehoming a must-do.
They are hoping to find the right home where this deserving dog will be loved unconditionally and kept safe, happy, healthy and well-cared-for.

Bluey’s Personality
He is very happy and very playful. He loves both dogs and cats. He mirror's the dog he is playing by meeting their energy levels. If they are runners and wrestle he mirrors it back. He will be calmer if the dog is more laid back, or takes their breaks and plays less, then he mirrors' that level of energy. He plays well with large and small dogs, and loves chew toys and shares food and toys well. If a dog is aggressive he leaves and will not retaliate or mirror the aggression as he is not an alpha but more of a Bata. He will come to my side and hide from the aggressive dog i.e. if it barks he leaves. If it nips he yelps and runs from them to hide. If he is being herded he follows the dog herding him or try to play. He is motivated by play with other dogs and loves food. he greets strangers as well as familiar humans.
Bluey’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
He loves all food, except fruit and veggies unless they are cooked with meat specifically chicken. He loves his sweet potato or potatoes, rice, chicken and egg mix that i use to mix with his kibble . He likes all kinds of breads because when he was younger he stole some from surfing the counter which he no longer does. He loves raw hide chips and other softer chews although he will chew tougher items, yet the vet says no dog should chew really hard items as it may damage their teeth.
Cute Bluey Story:
When Bluey sees a familiar dog pal he will yelp and dance until he gets to play with them. He loves all dogs small and large and will play with them sweetly if they want or more athletically if that's how they play.
Why is Bluey Being Rehomed?
I was having hives in reaction to his licking, and now I am having asthma flair ups so the doctor says instead of getting better the allergist suggest I rehome him as there is not telling how bad my allergic reactions may get. If I am not well then I am no use to my pet. It breaks my heart. I filled out one of these forms and stopped the process because it broke my heart. But now i must follow through with it, even if it makes me sad I know i am doing it for him to find a new home where he is able to be hugged regularly and cared for consistently without fear of making his new owners ill.
Bluey’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
I hope there are people who can walk him daily who will take him to meet other pets and maybe a runner who can really help him get his running spirit met!
I hope they see how wonderfully loving he is and how much he needs multiple hugs a day, without fear of getting sick.
