There is a $40 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.

Don’t let my name scare you – I am not stinky – it’s just a name! What I am is cuter than a butterfly’s elbow, super sweet, playful and affectionate. I love to purr up a storm and make your day so much better with my extreme cuteness. I am only 6 months old and have been neutered, fully vaccinated, and litter trained.

My owner, who loves me sooooo much, is having to rehome me due to severe cat allergies. She didn’t know she was allergic when she adopted me. Life can be cruel! I am looking for a loving new home in the Los Angeles area. I am good with children, other cats and dogs, as long as they are cat-friendly. I will bring all my supplies with me – a “ready to love” kitten! Please offer me a loving home today!

Personality

Stinky is a wonderful little cat and has been from day one. He is a bold, curious guy with a giant heart. He loves sleeping on us (which does not help my allergies at all!), curled up on our chest or next to our neck. When I’m sitting down at my desk, he loves to put his paws up on my chest and fall asleep sitting up against me.

Stinky is super playful and curious. He has never been afraid of strangers and in fact seems to welcome anything new or exciting. He always wants to be involved in what we are doing and loves just hanging around us, usually never further than a few feet from either one of us.

Stinky was never shy and the first day we brought him home, it took him just a few minutes to be comfortable. He is super smart and figures things out easily and loves anything with crinkling or bell sounds. He loves hiding behind things and pouncing at us, but he is always careful to keep his claws in when doing so.

He is also not a picky eater and he eats dry food, wet food, and also raw food. He’ll eat whatever you put down, though he seems to prefer poultry. He’s a talkative cat, and will meow his moods.

He greets us each and every day when we come home or when we come out of the bedroom.

Reason For Rehoming

We rescued our little kitten when we fell in love with him at the adoption center. The first week went by without issues. On the second week, however, I found out that I was allergic to him as symptoms hit me suddenly. Initially, I held out thinking it might improve over the next few months, but it did not and has progressively gotten worse. It has begun to affect my job performance and also has me in coughing fits.

We have tried various solutions over the past months, including air filters, HEPA vacuuming, good quality food, and wiping down the cat. It does not seem to have a lasting effect, and the medications I have tried have either not been effective or caused side effects that I cannot live with (insomnia).

I feel guilt every time he cannot come to bed with us, due to the allergies, and given that he is currently a kitten and would benefit from increased social time, we have decided to try and look for a good home for him. I am honestly devastated at this decision and I’ve been going back and forth on it repeatedly. I would love love love to keep in touch with him and his new owners after he finds a home.
