Boots is quite the cat! This handsome brown tabby cat has a very outgoing personality and is very affectionate with the people he loves. He is just 4 years old and weighs 10 pounds.

Boots has had all of his vet care taken care of. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He is also micro-chipped.

Boots is a clean and well behaved cat that is very attached to his humans. He loves spending time with you and is great company. He is lovely to come home to at the end of a busy day. He is good at letting you know how much he missed you all day with lots of cuddles and purring. He is happy to go with you on a walk outdoors, or just chill in front of the news, cuddled up beside you on the sofa.

Boots owners are so sad to have to find him a new home, but their lives have taken a new direction with work responsibilities that have made it nearly impossible to provide Boots with the time and attention he needs and deserves. They are travelling as long as 3 weeks at a time, and Boots has made it evident that he is not pleased with this situation.

Boots’ owners want what is best for him, and that is to have an owner who can make him their focus, consistently giving him the time, attention, playtime and cuddling he needs and very much deserves.

They will be sad to say goodbye to him, but are hoping to keep in touch with his new owners, as long as this is not something that would be intrusive. They just want Boots to have a better, happier life than they can currently give him.

Boots will do well in a home where he can be the only cat. He has no experience around children, but would be fine with older, respectful children. Cat friendly dogs should be acceptable to him as well, as long as they are properly and gently introduced.

My husband and I are both working more and more. He just took over running a biotech startup company, and in addition to my current job, I also recently launched a consulting business.

We are finding we have less and less time for our two cats and would like to see if we could find a home where they can be loved on the way they deserve. We also travel a bit, internationally as well, for up to 3 weeks at a time. Our last trip did not sit well with Boots.

Boots is an affable cat that will do well in any home in which he gets the attention he craves. He is very people-oriented and a snuggle bunny.

He does not like being left home alone for long stretches (for example, when owners are away on a trip). He is fine with a normal work day, but appreciates some loving and attention when you come home.
