Annie and Izzie are looking for a quiet, adults only home where they will be cherished and kept safe, happy and healthy. They need owners who can feed them and keep their litter boxes clean and fresh. They need owners who are home often to receive their love, snuggles and purrs.

Annie and Izzie’s owners love them very much and want the very best for them. With the arrival of small children to their family, life has become so busy and hectic that caring for  the cats has become difficult. They are dearly hoping to find cat lovers who have the ability to make Annie and Izzie their focus and give the girls everything they need and deserve.

Although the cats behave very well around children, the chaos and unpredictable nature of living in a busy household with small children has brought out occasional marking behaviors in the cats. They need a clean litter box, and to have a quiet area in which to “do their business” that is not under siege by toddlers. Prior to having children in their home, the cats had impeccable litter box habits.   The cats are very sweet, and they deserve to have a home environment in which they feel safe and happy.

The ideal home for the sisters will be with adult cat lovers in a quiet home with a strong routine. Someone who can feed them on schedule, keep their litter boxes pristine, and give them lots of affection, play time and attention.

Our home is a bit hectic right now. We have three kids ages 5 and under. We have a large home and Annie has chosen my bedroom as her favorite place to spend most of her time. Izzie prefers the playroom, near people and lots of sun.

My husband and I adopted Annie and her litter mate sister Izzie shortly after they were born. We love them dearly, but now that we have 3 kids and are starting a remodel project we just don’t think it’s feasible to keep them. Our kids love the cats and love to find them around the house and pick them up.

Annie and Izzie’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Annie loves to go “hunting” for our children’s toys. She is constantly carrying stuffed animals and tennis balls and other crazy things around the house. Izzie loves to look out the window all day long. She also loves to “hunt” for toys and papers.

Once I heard a loud noise and went to go investigate and found Annie carrying a Costco sized bag of avocados up the stairs!

Why are Annie and Izzie Being Rehomed?

We have three kids ages 5 and under now and we just aren’t giving the cats the attention they need. We forget to clean the litter or even feed them because there is so much going on. Also, we are starting a remodel project and we know that they will not handle that well.

Annie and Izzie’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A quiet home with a strong routine. 1 or 2 adult cat lovers to give them the attention, cuddles and care they need and deserve. The cats must be indoors only pets. Sunny windows where they can bird watch would be ideal.
