- Opal – Torbie Cat For Rehoming in Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Opal is sort of a one person type of cat. She has been loyal to her owner since she was a kitten. She’s the sort of cat who hates to share attention, and no matter what you are doing, she wants to be nearby or cuddled up next to you on the couch. She isn’t one to be picked up all the time, but she certainly loves a little attention. With Opal around, you’ll never be lonely. She can be very entertaining and water doesn’t bother her much. She’s likely to keep you company while you are relaxing in the tub, or maybe she’ll check up on the fish in the aquarium…to watch a little “Cat TV”? Opal would love to be your cat.”
Opal is being placed for adoption by owner for the following reason:
I have a young son and he was recently tested for allergies. He was determined to be highly allergic to cats and I don’t think it’s fair to keep Molly outside all the time. If she comes into the house with my son, he immediately starts sneezing and gets itchy and swollen eyes. I would have kept her forever if it weren’t for my son’s allergies.
If you have room in your heart and home for this very special female torbie cat, please offer Molly her forever home today. She can’t wait to purr her way into your heart and home.

There is a $25 adoption/rehoming fee. Supplies and veterinary records will be included.

Opal enjoys calm activities, she isn’t hugely active so I avoid giving her canned food and treats so she doesn’t get overweight. She does enjoy playing with string toys and frolicking around the yard.
Cute Opal Story:
When Opal was a kitten, she’d hop on the side of the bathtub while I was bathing. She loved trying to “get” the water. One time, she actually jumped in the tub and got soaking wet 🙂 After that experience, I was actually able to bathe her a few times.
Why is Opal Being Rehomed?
My son is highly allergic to cats
