Looking for a Tuxedo Tabby cat for adoption in Birmingham, AL? Mansha would love to be considered for the position of your cherished family companion.

💌 Mansha’s Story — A Tuxedo Tabby With a Heart Full of Love

If love had whiskers, it would look a lot like Mansha.
From the moment she pads softly into a room—tail held high like a victory flag—you just know you’re in the presence of someone special. She’s the kind of cat who makes eye contact that feels like a hug, and if you’re really lucky, she’ll seal the deal with one of her famous “eye kisses.” That’s Mansha’s way of saying, You’re my person now.

But Mansha doesn’t give her heart away lightly. She’s a one-year-old Tuxedo Tabby with a curious mix of confidence and tenderness—a little bit diva, a little bit nurse, and a whole lot of charm. Her favorite game? The Great Pâté Heist, which involves convincing her human that she hasn’t eaten in days when, in truth, she’s already polished off breakfast and has her sights set on lunch. Her preferred treats are salmon or turkey Temptations—because, as she’ll tell you, a girl has to have standards.

When playtime calls, Mansha becomes a blur of black-and-white elegance, launching herself after crinkle balls and dollar store toys like she’s auditioning for “Cat Olympics.” But when the world quiets down, she transforms again—curling up with the serenity of a living purr machine, a soft weight against your chest, and a look that whispers, Everything’s okay. I’ve got you.

Her current guardian will tell you Mansha has been nothing short of a healer. “She nursed me back to health emotionally,” they said, voice soft with affection. “She always seemed to know when I was in pain.”
And that’s just who Mansha is—a cat who loves so completely, so instinctively, that she becomes a part of your soul.

Now, because of circumstances beyond her person’s control—health challenges and an unexpected housing situation—it’s time to find Mansha a new chapter. There’s no fault here, only love and heartbreak. Mansha’s mom made the kind of decision that only the truest love can make: to let her go so she can have the life she deserves.

Like many cats, Mansha isn’t perfect (though she’d politely disagree). She has bursts of youthful energy and a tendency to be nocturnal—her “witching hour zoomies” could wake the dead. But she’s worth every midnight shuffle and early-morning cuddle. She’s also an indoor girl through and through; loud outdoor noises give her the jitters, so she’d prefer to stay inside where life is cozy, calm, and predictable.

If you’re looking for a companion who’s equal parts sass and sweetness—a confidant, comedian, and quiet protector wrapped in silky black-and-white fur—Mansha might just be your match.

Adopting her means gaining a best friend who will make you laugh when you least expect it and comfort you when you need it most. She’ll steal your heart, your pillow, and occasionally your spot on the couch, but in return, she’ll give you something far rarer: unconditional, intuitive love.

So… are you ready for Mansha’s eye kisses and gentle purrs?
She’s waiting in Birmingham, dreaming of her forever person. Maybe that’s you.

Mansha’s Personality

Just young and high-energy. Not a great match for a disabled person. She is frightened of outdoors (where noisy). However when she cools down, she is very sweet and cuddly.

Mansha’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She’s a little spoiled in that I give her 1 can of pâté a day, split into two meals along with free feeding dry food. Favors fish maybe since it’s more pungent but will eat any flavor. She likes Temptations treats. So far we’ve used salmon and turkey flavors. Her favorite toys – that’s a little tougher since she tends to get bored with the same toy after a little play. Wand toys are very effective, and she loves the dollar store toys as well like crinkle foil or a mouse in a metal wire ball. My biggest challenge is mobility, and it often prevents me from playing with her at her energy level.

Cute Mansha Story:

Well, I got her last November, and she has nursed me back to health emotionally. I found myself very isolated and without adequate transportation, but she was always happy to have me home. When she first came home she was a little scared, but after just one day in isolation walked right out and became social.

Why is Mansha Being Rehomed?

My disability is the primary reason I can’t give her all she needs from a guardian. Other contributing factors are social stressors compelling me to leave my home, such that have not adequately been addressed by either my landlord or lawyers. I have resolved to live in my van indefinitely, despite my mobility challenges.

Mansha’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Loving, attentive and loyal guardians ideally. It is my wish that she not be de-clawed, as this seems to be detrimental to litter box use in the long term.

She needs a guardian with creative solutions to some of her more difficult habits, such as her sleep schedule which is more or less crepuscular. The choice to rehome her has been the hardest one I’ve ever made, since I adore her, despite the challenges we have faced as a family. I am going to miss her dearly, but I face future housing instability, and intend to live in my vehicle indefinitely.
