Winston’s Personality

He’s a pretty low-key boy, he loves to play fetch, cuddle, belly rubs, and just hanging out/keeping you company. He barks if someone comes to the door, but not excessively. He greets everyone happily and wants to be petted, and shows off his toys to everyone. He’s been fine with cats and another dog. He’s never been around children so we cannot speak to how he is with them. Overall he’s a sweet loving guy.

Why is Winston Being Rehomed?

I recently had a baby, she was born premature and we’ve been facing some serious health issues with her. Part of the health issues we are facing is that she’s severely allergic to our dog and unfortunately having him with us is making our home an unsafe environment for her.

We are completely heartbroken over this and we’ve discussed our options extensively with our doctors to see what all of the possibilities are. This is the absolute last thing we want to do, this is the hardest decision we’ve ever had to make but this is our only choice due to the health concerns of our daughter. So now we need to officially rehome our beloved dog, Winston.

We’ve reached out to the original location that we adopted him from and are waiting to hear back if they will take him back or help us, but we can’t put all of our eggs in one basket since we sadly need to rehome asap.

We’ve also reached out to a few other organizations, as well as have him up on two rehoming sites to hopefully find him the best possible home in the most responsible way possible.
