Timber’s beloved dad moved into full-time care and couldn’t bring his four-legged best friend along. So now, Timber — calm, loyal, and ever-so-slightly opinionated about his routines — is searching for a new forever person to love. And he’s hoping it might be you.

Now, before you go thinking Timber is some cranky senior set in his ways… let me stop you. This guy still has pep in his step. Why is Timber Being Rehomed?

Timber is my father’s dog. They have been together for 12 years – half of that time at The Sharon retirement home here in Charlotte. My father can no longer take care of Timber but we are looking for a home that will still give him the love and attention he deserves. Timber is still active but he is not a puppy. He does enjoy his down time too. His diet is simple hard food a few times a day (routine). And he loves a few walks a day too.

Timber’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I believe Timber would be a good fit for a home that he’s not in the crate all day. He does like his walks. Not sure how he’d do with younger dogs or puppies. He is mature and calm but does great with kids and other dogs. He is very obedient and a sweet heart.
