Which Medium Dog Breed Is Right for You?

Medium dogs are extraordinarily diverse. A quiet adult Whippet, busy Australian Cattle Dog, scent-focused Beagle and sensitive spaniel may occupy a similar size range while requiring very different homes. Look beyond weight and appearance to energy level, training needs, grooming, temperament, age and known compatibility with children or other pets.

Pet Net and Dogs Central have complementary roles. Pet Rehoming Network focuses on adoption, private home-to-home rehoming and real dog profiles. Dogs Central provides deeper breed education to help you understand what a breed may be like to live with.
