Remi combines the best qualities of both breeds into one waggy-tailed 65 pound bundle of love and licks. Just 6 years old, Remi is such a sweet dog. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots, micro-chipped and house trained. He is very affectionate and well behaved. Remi is good with children and other dogs. He has no experience with cats, but would likely be fine with a dog-friendly cat.

Remi and his best buddy, Ben, another amazing dog, are being rehomed by their owners, who are dearly hoping to find the dogs a good home, hopefully as a bonded pair. The reason they are being placed for adoption is that their family has grown to include 3 little people under 6, and there is another on the way.

Dad has been working very long hours, and his job requires that the family move frequently. This has taken a real toll on Remi – he just wants to settle down into a home where he can have a routine and a nice big yard to share with Ben.

Caring for 3.5 small children leaves very little time to give the dogs the attention and exercise they need and deserve, and Mom is very concerned for the dogs and their well-being.

Ben and Remi would fit in well with almost any family who have a home with a large, securely fenced yard, and some time to play fetch or go for a walk each day. The dogs are pretty laid back and easy to care for – they just need someone who can make them a priority.
