At the tender age of 4.5, Farrah is a bundle of love, brimming with enthusiasm for life. She might be a bit territorial around her owner and reactive on a leash, but with her dog sitter and walkers, she is the epitome of an angel. This quirky trait of hers makes her even more endearing, and she has no issues with most dogs.

Farrah is a smart cookie, using her intelligence to her advantage. She thrives in a home with an assertive owner who can keep up with her dynamic personality. One of her favorite pastimes is playing tug of war, a game she plays with an unmatched zeal. Her love for the outdoors is unparalleled, and she will happily spend hours chasing after rabbits on her walks.

Children over the age of eight will find a faithful and playful companion in Farrah. She also gets along well with most dogs, but she is not the best fit for a household with cats. As for her dietary preferences, she loves grain-free beef and sweet potato, a meal this adorable Boxer Lab mix can’t resist!

Her kennel, harness, first aid kit, food bowls, beds, training collars, food cups, toys, and lick mats will accompany her to her new home. Farrah is house trained and crate trained, which makes her a perfect fit for any family.

Farrah has many endearing stories that will melt your heart. Once, her owner fostered a puppy in California, and even though Farrah was initially hesitant, she developed a playful relationship with the little one. This experience helped her grow and appreciate her space, food, and toys even more.

There’s another adorable story about Farrah’s encounter with a deer during a visit to Montana. Her playful nature got the better of her, and she tried to engage the deer in a game. When the deer shook its head, she ran the other way, only to return and continue her playful antics.

Sadly, Farrah needs to be rehomed due to a company relocation to NYC. Her owner is also anxious to ensure she gets the best life with her new family. Farrah’s ideal home would be a calm and relaxed family that can balance her high energy. A home with a yard would be a bonus!

She needs a family who can continue her training and keep her mentally challenged. Could your home be the perfect match for our delightful Brindle Boxer Lab mix dog, Farrah?

Farrah‘s Personality

She is a funny girl. She loves to play tug of war, nibble on her toys, and take big stretches. She is great on walks with her prong collar and loves to run after some rabbits! Farrah is a routine driven dog who loves an owner in command.

She is anxious around other dogs, but has lived with other dogs before. She is extremely smart and uses this to her advantage. She loves to be outside. She has a lot of energy to spare!

5 Amazing Things About Farrah:

1. She does big stretches with me every morning!
2. She thrives off of routine.
3. She picks up training so quickly!
4. She has the most wiggly butt.
5. She lives for soft blankets and comfy seats.

Farrah‘s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

1. Rope toys, she loves to play tug of war!
2. Sticks! She will chew them up and move on to the next, but won’t chew up anything else!
3. Playing fetch. It took me almost a year to teach her how to play. Now when she sees the chuck it, she is the most determined and it’s lovely to see her so focused.
4. Farrah has come a long way with her diet and we finally found a food that she will gobble up without any issues! Grain free beef and sweet potato!
5. Lick mats in her kennel. This is a calming tool just as much as her favorite snack. Peanut butter and pumpkin are her favorite flavors.

Cute Farrah Story:

I lived in California for a short while, and fostered a puppy with Farrah in the home. She immediately was hesitant to take this puppy in. Slowly she developed such a fun and playful relationship, which also forced her out of her comfort zone and made her grateful for her space, food, and toys. She grew a lot over that time period.

Another cute story: when we would go home to Montana, Farrah loved my sisters property. She would run all the hills looking for deer and elk. One day she came up on a large deer, who didn’t run away from her. She wanted to play with it, and she barked.

Then the deer shook its head and she bolted so fast in the other direction! She then starting to come back and play with it again, and the deer was like egging her on. It was so cute and she was so tired that day!

Why is Farrah Being Rehomed?

My company is relocating to NYC. I also have a lot of anxiety around making sure she has the best life with her new family as I have poured my heart and soul into her since I adopted her as an emaciated puppy!

Farrah‘s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Calm and relaxed family, to balance her energy. Having a yard is a plus! No small dogs or children as she can get a little hyper and might not be the most gentle. Children are her favorite! She needs a family that will keep up her training and challenge her mentally!
