All About Pippa
Pippa’s Personality
Loyal, friendly, loves people and playing with other dogs, cuddly, happy, she is staying at a summer camp until we find a home, she has become friends with all the other big dogs and loves to play with them. The owner also takes Pippa into her home a lot where she hangs out with the children and sleeps at night with one of the boys.
She is loyal – will not run away when off leash;
She loves to play with balls, chasing and pushing them around;
She will sleep with me at the foot of my bed;
She is super good with children (we call her nanny);
She is easy to travel with – loves the car!
Pippa’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Favorite toy is a tennis ball (I buy the small ones); she eats twice a day a dry food and is not picky; she loves to lay in the sun on the back porch, play with the tennis ball, and alert you if there is someone at the door. I feel safe with her. She loves to ride in the car and loves to go for long walks. Loves to chase squirrels and cats if you let her. She has never hurt another animal. She is just having fun!
Cute Pippa Story:
When we bought Pippa we could hold her in one hand. We move a lot because of work and Pippa has been the one friend constant in our lives. She has no trouble with transitions. I let her stay with my mother one summer and when I went to pick her up she saw me and ran back to my mother. We all laughed and once I picked her up she was all over me! My favorite is taking her to the park near us and letting her off leash. She has so much fun playing with the squirrels. I laugh so hard each time. She would never hurt a squirrel. It is all game and good exercise!
Why is Pippa Being Rehomed?
COVID has been hard on my family. I am a professor of education and work with beginning teachers. Due to a new job I have to move where the job affords room and board. I cannot take Pippa with me due to the regulations of the room and board that will be part of our salary.
I am devastated but because Pippa loves people and has been away from me at times when I have had to go out of town for work and everyone who has kept her falls in love with her. So if I could find a new home I know she would be happy.
Pippa’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Someone who will love Pippa and have fun with Pippa. It’s ideal if there are no other pets and there are children. She gets along with other dogs but I know she likes to be the special one in the family.

I would love to stay in touch but it is not a problem for me if that is not an option.
