Noel is still fairly energetic, especially for a senior dog. He gets excited when humans are around and wants to be near them and get pets.
He is still a senior, though, so makes a good lap dog for tv watching too. Noel is very sweet. He will bark at the doorbell and at new people as they arrive, but immediately comes up and asks for pets.
He gets along well with other family dogs, but was never taught any commands/training, so he is slightly on the wild side. When walked by someone with trained dogs, he catches on fairly quickly.
After just a few minutes, he was pulling much less, staying close, etc. Noel is trainable.

Honestly, Noel has very limited activities due to being in a home with mostly immobile seniors. He has two stuffy toys that he insists on sleeping next to. He has been eating human food mostly – chicken, fish, steak, potatoes, carrots, rice

My father has just passed away after a long decline, and my mother recently had a stroke. She needs to be living with family, and is likely going to spend the next year bouncing around siblings’ homes (in Maryland, Seattle, and Canada). The family members are unable to take Noel.
