He is a submissive dog, and looks to his owner for reassurance before he feels safe around people he doesn’t know well. He loves to spend time with other dogs, and he has such a loving, effervescent personality. Every day with Scout is a good day.
Scout’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dog. With the arrival of a baby, they simply do not have time to give Scout the life he deserves. They are hoping to find a new home for Scout where he will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life.

Scout’s Personality
He is a very happy dog that loves attention! We adopted him December 31,2020. He ran away from his previous home because he was abused really bad! He loves to have the Zoomies. Absolutely loves to be petted and loved on. When he meets new people he gets scared and will bark until told it’s okay.
Why is Scout Being Rehomed?
This is Scout, he was an only dog but once we had our son he’s been chewing on himself. We got him checked for literally EVERYTHING (very expensive)! But it all come out to he’s sad he’s not getting all of our attention anymore with us having a baby now. We think it’s a mixture of jealousy and depression. We have had a cone on him since September 2021, taking it off to see if it’s gone away every week just about, but it hasn’t. He doesn’t do it when other people are watching him so we know it’s nothing serious.
We just really want him to find a good loving home where he doesn’t have wear a cone to keep him from chewing on himself.
