Bleu is a male 1/2 Australian Shepherd 1/2 American Pit Bull Terrier Dog for adoption to a very loving home in or near Las Vegas, NV. This very special Dog is 1yr 6 mos old and weighs 56-60 lbs pounds.
Bleu is a very smart dog. He has already mastered several commands, and is an engaging and devoted companion. Bleu is good with children. He is house trained and crate trained – a ready to love dog. Bleu is fixed and up to date on his shots. He is in good health, but is “on the mend” after undergoing surgery on his hind leg. His owner will provide all veterinary records. Bleu’s owner is a senior lady who will be relocating soon. She has two dogs, and is finding it very difficult to care for both dogs properly. She feels that Bleu would fare better in a family home with dog lovers who have the time, energy and ability to give Bleu the attention, exercise and care he needs and very much deserves.

I’ll be needing to move soon and its too hard for me to continue to properly care for both pups. Bleu is too strong for me. Its very hard for me to rehome Bleu but its the best thing for him.

Health Problems: Yes Bleu had successful FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) on Nov 28 2018. he is recovering with great use of right hip and leg use. His muscles are still healing from operation but in good shape, still needing TLC with watchful eye, as he is very energetic and wants to run and play.
Surgery was performed by Dr. Winn at the VCA Blake Mountain Animal Hospital as Bleus’ Vet Dr. McKnight no longer performed the particular surgery. I have all records

knows bed time and goes in grate without delay.
every curious about everything and surroundings an will sniff a lot
will pick up smelly socks but put them down with a “leave it”
loves to play keep away and he will keep!!!!

Bleu’s Current Home Environment
very quiet, big home for a single widowed woman
Bleu’s Current Family:
recently widowed have two grown children 4 grand children 6 great grandchildren, all living out of state. i will have to be moving sometime by June. as Children will be selling house.
I also have my husbands dog Jake which i made a promised to care for. Jake is 8 years old and
puts up with Bleu but sticks to me like velcro when both are loose together, making it dangerous for me, especially since Bleu wants to play
Bleu’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
I feed Bleu 2 cups of Purina Lamb and Rice twice a day. Loves to play tug of war with tether ball/rope chases ball and likes teething bones. Of course his activities have been none existent because of his surgery but I have been letting him off lead for a few minutes 5 or 6 times a day and he will run so i have to watch him carefully so he doesn’t over do it.
Cute Bleu Story:
He has a beautiful best friend a Rottweiler and the tiniest little toy dog that he played with at park all got along so well, you wouldn’t believe which one ruled the roost, the little one so much fun to watch them, other dogs around german shepard and a pincher all got along real well.
When Bleu doesnt want to do something you want him do he will just lay down until you walk away.
Why is Bleu Being Rehomed?
I’ll be needing to move soon and its too hard for me to continue to properly care for both pups. Bleu is too strong for me. Its very hard for me to rehome Bleu but its the best thing for him.

A loving family or person that will be understanding and have the patience with my Bleus’ energy Be willing to train as Bleu is still a pup wants to please. will never ever give Bleu to any animal shelter. Especially giving Bleu the proper care he needs during the rest of his recovery which might be another month or so
