Hi, My name is Lily!

I am a short hair black and white (Tuxedo) Female Cat. I am 9 years young, very healthy and weigh 9 pounds. I live in Hamburg, NY.

Lily loves to cuddle, play in laundry baskets, she does not go outside, so I do not have to worry about her sneaking out. She likes to help you get ready in the bathroom in the mornings by taking up the sink, she knows not to jump up on everything, such as the countertops, and kitchen tables.

Lily’s Personality

Lily love to cuddle, play in laundry baskets, she does not go outside, so I do not have to worry about her sneaking out. She likes to help you get ready in the bathroom in the mornings by taking up the sink, she knows not to jump up on everything, such as the countertops, and kitchen tables.

Lily’s Current Home Environment

Currently our house is under construction, so she is limited in the spaces she usually likes to go to. Usually, she has most of the house. We are on the go, in and out a lot more so lately.

Lily’s Current Family:

Currently it is my husband and I. We have a dog along with Lily. We are expecting our first child.

Lily’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Lily does not like soft food. Even treats she likes to have crunchy treats. She does not like to eat out of peoples hands. The food that I give her she likes the most, is purina cat naturals, indoor. The treats she loves are the whiskas temptations in chicken or turkey. She does not like fish. She LOVES chicken. She loves playing with strings, little balls, and loves chasing a laser. She also loves to sunbath in windows.

Cute Lily Story:

Lily loves bird watching. In the summer, I have the windows open. She got excited when a bird landed on the ground right below the window. She accidentally pushed the screen out and fell outside on top of it. It was not a far drop thankfully. I don’t know if she was so stunned because she fell out the window, or because she was outside, she did not move at all. I had enough time to run around the house and get her. To this day she, she still likes to bird watch, but she does not even attempt to jump up on the screen.

Why is Lily Being Rehomed?

We are doing construction on our house and we are expecting our first child. Lily is limited in the space that she can run around in, as our house is not very large, it makes a big difference not allowing her to go into 2 different rooms. I know that we will not be able to give her the attention that she needs. Also, with being pregnant, I do not want to have any health risks.

Lily’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Lily does not have much experience around children, so I would assume that she would not do very well. I think that she would do best with someone, who is not gone for more than a day or 2 at a time, she becomes depressed when she does not have human interaction for small periods of time. The less animals, the better, so she can have more attention.
