I have been feeding Pico ‘Purina Beneful Healthy Weight’, but he can also eat “Whole Hearted” for puppies (in an orange bag). I give him 3/4 cup in the morning and 3/4 cup in the evening. Usually 8am and 5pm, or 9am and 6pm. I feed the food to him dry without wetting it. He scarfs it down.
Pico is an endlessly curious and adventurous puppy. He loves being outside, going on walks, and most of all, playing with other dogs. He’s very active and sociable, never aggressive but always playful. He’s an independent boy so he’s best suited for a family with other dogs where he can blend right in and play.
I’m not able to click all the options below, but Pico is: Microchipped, neutered, fully vaccinated until September 2019, House broken, and somewhat leash/obedience trained and he gets along with pretty much everything listed below besides cats, they haven’t taken a liking to him so far. He has not met any other small animals or horses thus far.
I will be in LA and available from March 16-26 to show Pico to different homes. I am in between travel. It would be great if the process started now in time for this period. I will be heading back home to the east coast on the 26th of March, but want to find Pico a home on the West Coast where it’s warm and a great place to continue raising a puppy.
Why is Pico Being Rehomed?
I adopted Pico while I was working at a job where I could bring him to work with me everyday. It was the ideal situation. I got laid off from that job this past January. Between being unemployed/not financially secure and looking for a new job in the film industry where I can’t have Pico with me is leading me to needing to re-home him. I want him to be happy and around a family with other dogs. He LOVES other dogs and playing and as a single person with just him, I do not feel I can give him the most ideal living situation. I want the best for him.
