Are you ready to meet the most charming and lovable dog in Edmonton, AB? Look no further because Theo is here to steal your heart! This three-year-old male Cockapoo is not just your average pup – he’s the epitome of sweetness, playfulness, and loyalty. Trust us, once you meet Theo, you’ll never want to let him go.

This dog-friendly boy is the perfect addition to almost any family. First and foremost, he’s incredibly cuddly. Whether you’re watching TV or enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon, Theo will be right by your side, ready to shower you with affection. And don’t get us started on his enthusiasm – this little guy has an endless supply of energy, making playtime an absolute blast!

But it’s not just his cuddliness and enthusiasm that make Theo special. He’s also incredibly smart and quick to learn new tricks. Teaching him commands and tricks will be a breeze, and you’ll be amazed at how fast he picks them up. Plus, you’ll never have to worry about shedding with Theo – his coat is hypoallergenic, making him perfect for those with allergies.

When it comes to Theo’s favorite toys, foods, and activities, he’s not hard to please. He loves playing tug-of-war with a rope, squeaking his beloved toys, and chewing on bones and antlers. Taking him to the dog park is always a highlight of his day, and he absolutely adores cuddling up with you during those long walks in the park.

Now let’s share a heartwarming story about Theo. When he was just a little puppy, he would zoom through the hallways, squeaking his squeakiest toy with pure joy. It was the cutest sight to see! And even as he grew older, he had a special attachment to a blue dragon toy. While his other toys fell victim to his playful nature, he always played gently with his dragon, and it lasted for an impressive two years. Talk about being sentimental!

Unfortunately, his owners have found themselves in the difficult position of having to rehome Theo due to his separation anxiety. They have done their best to accommodate his needs, but with the arrival of a new baby in February, it has become increasingly challenging. They want nothing but the best for Theo, and hope to find him a forever home where his separation anxiety can be understood and managed appropriately.

The ideal adoptive home for Theo would be one where someone is always present or has a reliable support system. Dogs with separation anxiety cannot simply “cry it out” – it only exacerbates their anxiety. Therefore, it’s crucial that his new owners are knowledgeable about separation anxiety and willing to work with Theo to help him feel secure and loved.

Cute Theo Story:

When he was a little puppy he’d run back and forth through our hallways squeaking his squeakiest toy. Also when he was little he had a favourite toy, it was a blue dragon. All his other toys were chewed up but he played gently with this one and it lasted for two years.

Why is Theo Being Rehomed?

We need to re-home Theo because of his separation anxiety. We have been living around Theo’s needs but can’t continue doing this because we had a baby in February.

Theo’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

It would be best if someone is home all the time and or has someone they can leave Theo with. Dogs who have separation anxiety won’t learn that it’s okay to be home alone by crying it out. Crying it out for these pups makes their separation anxiety worse so it is important that his new family understands separation anxiety and can work with it in their lifestyle.

We love him so much. Not sure if staying in touch would be harder on us and him or not. We might absolutely love to stay in touch if it’s easy and the new family is open to that.
