Just 4 years years old and weighing 65 pounds, Ruby Tuesday is a stunning young dog with a Yellow Lab coat and one crystal blue and one brown eye. She is a very healthy dog that has been fixed, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, housebroken, crate trained and leash trained.
This golden girl is as beautiful in the inside as she is on the outside. She is an amazing family companion, an absolute sweetheart that is very good with babies, children of all sizes, visitors, other dogs, cats and other animals. You couldn’t ask for a nicer dog.

Rehoming Ruby is a source of heartache for her owner, who is older and has developed health issues that have made it necessary to give up her independence and enter an assisted living facility. She is dearly hoping to find a family for Ruby before her move in date (September 1, 2022), and is becoming desperate after having been stood up by many people who contacted her through ads on Adoptapet and other online adoption websites. These inconsiderate situations have only served to increase the heartache she feels over saying Goodbye to Ruby. She knows what a great dog Miss Ruby is – and she is going to miss her something terrible.
Kansas Pet Adoptions Network is looking for a foster or permanent home for Ruby Tuesday. She would fit in well into so many situations. Ruby loves to spend her time outside, basking in the sun and watching the butterflies and birds. She’s so great with children that she would be the perfect family dog, she would be an amazing dog for a retired couple living in a house with a big fenced yard or out in the country, and she would be wonderful with a single dog lover – even an older person living alone who has a yard that Ruby can play in. Ruby just needs owners who can keep her safe and love her as much as she will love them. That’s not a lot to ask for. Ruby Tuesday’s Personality
Ruby is a sweetheart, smart, beautiful and full of love. She needs daily exercise and needs a family that can play get, catch, take her for walks and she loves water/swimming.
She is a perfect combination of Labrador and Husky. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. Her mom was golden lab and dad a husky.
She is very engaging and full of life – never aggressive.
She gets excited with company or another dog and dances around, but again not aggressive. She lives with two Cats and ignores them.
Ruby likes to be outside and she is kennel trained and sleeps in her kennel bed at night in the house in my room.
She is house trained as well.
Why is Ruby Tuesday Being Rehomed?
I’m disabled and my condition has worsened and I’m moving into a facility that will not allow me to take Ruby.
I have started the rehoming process five months ago and she is listed on adopt a pet and a number of sites. I have and am doing all I can to find her a loving home as she has with me.
I am running out of time and ruby needs a home by September 1. Again , I have been doing all I can and found this resource through another friend.
