Tribble does not need constant attention. She picks and chooses where and when she would like to engage with her humans, and when she does want some petting or chin scratches, she can make you feel very important and special. Tribble has been spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. She is what we call a “ready to love” cat – just adopt and enjoy!
Tribble’s owners are devastated to have to find her a new home. They adopted a second dog recently, unaware that the dog had a strong prey drive. They would return him to the shelter, but are worried that he would be euthanized. They feel that finding Tribble an amazing new home where she will be loved, cherished, and kept safe, happy and healthy is the best option.
If you have a quiet home with nice, sunny windows and not too much going on, Tribble would love to become your new best friend. Tribble’s Personality
She can be shy at first, and will often spend time by herself. Once she feels you are not a threat, she will come to you when she wants attention. Tribble really does not like to be picked up, is picky about who what animals she likes.
Tribble loves playing with peacock feathers. she will pull a cat tree to pieces, but not furniture, She loves being brushed, is a quiet purr. She likes t hide in and under things, generally does not go on counters. she knows how to discipline a dog with out hurting them. when she want attention she will come to you and reach out to you with her paw, does not sleep on top of you, she does not scream and howl all the time, love to stalk the birds and squirrels, she is a mouser. Tribble, would walk up next to me while I am watching tv sit down next to my chair and if I did not notice her there rather then jump up on me she would reach up and lightly grab my arm to let me know that she was there. she loves to take my doodles dog bed
She can be very selective of people and animals until she trusts you, you will probably not see her, when I have been away for work or have friends come over they say they know she is here because the food disappears but never see or hear her. She takes her time to warm up to you.
Why is Tribble Being Rehomed?
I got a second dog that has a extremely high prey drive since she has come into the home Tribble has become increasingly more withdrawn, since I know that if I give u this dog it will probably end up being put down.
I feel it would be better to find Tribble a home that would be a better fit for her as much as I love her it would be best if she was in a home with an older lab that is cat friendly with retired or senior cat lover.
