Beautiful black lab mix for adoption in kentucky

Hi, My name is Russ!

I am about the nicest dog you will ever meet. I am very handsome and always have a smile on my face. I am a lover of all – cats, dogs and children. I have exceptional manners and am perfectly house trained and crate trained.

I’m an 80 pound lap dog! There’s nothing I love more than cuddling on the couch with my owner. I am a good-natured clown – I can always make you smile.

My owner, who loves me dearly, is entering Nursing School in January. Although it absolutely breaks her heart, she realizes that she won’t have enough time to devote to me – or my brother dog Roscoe, a cute little black Collie mix who is also for adoption.

She is hoping to find me a home with a loving owner who has a fenced back yard and lots of time to spend with me. I would make a great companion for a single, couple or family with kids. (Did I mention that I LOVE children?) You can adopt me by myself, but why not double your fun and also adopt my little bud Roscoe, too?

Either way, please offer me/us a home today. I am the dog you have been looking for, and I can’t wait to wiggle my way into your heart!

Love and Licks,

Russ

Why is Russ Being Rehomed?

Owner is starting nursing school in January and will not be able to spend much time with her dog. She feels he will be better off with a family or person who has more time to spend with him.

Owner is heartbroken but feels this is best for him. Would like to keep in touch and visit if OK with new owner.
