Zella is a Female Border Terrier Mix Dog for adoption to a very loving home in or near Roswell, GA. This very special Dog is 6 years years old and weighs 19 lbs. pounds. She is adorable with her many interesting yips and barks and her unique puffy blonde hair-do. Her big brown eyes reveal a loving little dog who adores her best friend Murray and the people in her life.
She just loves to sit next to you and be rubbed. She has a tuft of blonde hair on the top of her head that matches her giant personality. When you walk in the door she wags her tail so fast that her entire butt wiggles with excitement. She also has many different barks, with different meanings, almost like she is talking. As a pair, these two will be great company and very entertaining.
Zella was brought into the home 4 years ago to help out with the issues we were having with our other dog. We assumed that the Murray needed a companion to ease his anxious/protective nature. Her presence did not help to mellow his nerves but they did form a wonderful bond. The other dog, named Murray is a 7 year old pug and though these two get along famously together, Murray needs a quieter home and we’d love for Zella to stay with him. Murray has lost his temper a few times and nipped at visitors to the house – he just seems to get anxious when there is too much going on in his house. The owners feel that placing Zella and Murray together in a quieter home without all the activity may help the two relax and feel secure as the dogs of the house.
Murray can have a short fuse at times, but he’s still a pleasant little pug when he doesn’t feel anxious and confused.
If you have a home that could use a pair of happy little dogs and can offer more peace and quiet than their current home with a cat and two growing kids, then please consider adopting both Zella and Murray.
