Leonidas (Nidas) is a gorgeous Tan colored Chihuahua Pug mix Chug for adoption in Scottsdale AZ. This sweet little gentleman is 15 years young and in good health. Nidas has been fixed and is up to date on his shots. He weighs 13 pounds and is house broken and very well behaved. He loves people, including respectful children. He is good with other dogs, as well.

Nidas is having to be rehomed through no fault of his own. His owners are divorcing, and neither will be able to provide this lovable Chug with the type of home he deserves – one with someone to spend time with him, a sunny outdoor area where he can relax, and a routine that he can get used to. At present he is living in an apartment building, unable to go outside and with his owner away from the apartment for very long hours, leaving Leonidas all alone.

Nidas is the ideal companion for a senior. He loves to go for walks, and his quiet and gentle presence in the home is a comfort, particularly in the age of Covid 19.

Nidas is quite lovable. He enjoys people and cuddling. He is always happy to sit and/or lay next to you on the couch or in bed. He enjoys walks and still jumps up on furniture like a young buck. He loves being outside in the summer and spring months and will sit out there and take in the sun for hours. He is very mellow and low maintenance.

Nidas is a very easy-going and loving dog. He is pretty low maintenance. He does like to run if the opportunity presents itself, so he should remain on a leash and be in a secured yard.
