This very handsome black and white Labrador Retriever mix is a wonderful fit for almost any family that has the time and space to give the love, attention, playtime, exercise and companionship he deserves.

Oreo is just 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He is in excellent health and has been neutered and vaccinated. He is well behaved, fully house-broken and ready-to-love.

Oreo gets along well with children, and was raised with small dogs He is accepting of other dogs, so long as they are accepting of him. He is a very kind and gentle dog, and if you give him a couple of moments to get over his shyness with meeting new people, you will be rewarded with an absolute LOVE dog.

Oreo’s owners are so sad to have to rehome him. Unfortunately a little girl in his family has developed very severe allergies to him (the kind that make breathing difficult). The family have tried everything possible to make Oreo less allergenic, but nothing has helped.

Oreo will be rehomed with his toys, food, treats, his leash and collar and any other items that his owners have for him – all you need to add is a safe, happy and healthy home where this deserving dog will be cherished for the remaining years of his life. Ideally, a home with a large, securely fenced yard, and some great kids to play with him. He would do well with small dogs, cats and other small animals. Adopt Oreo today!

Oreo’s Personality

He is loving and wants all the attention. He is scared around new people and dogs, so it does take time to warm up to them. He loves to run and play, make sure to have lots of unshredable toys. He was raised around smaller dogs, not big dogs. He is house trained, and fixed.

I know we are not in SD but we are in Imperial valley. (El Centro)
We just want to find very a loving, and caring home for him. We do not want to take him to the shelter here. It’s packed and he would be in a kennel, hot the entire time.

We love Oreo and do not want to give him up, but unfortunately we have to.

He is a good dog, that needs patience, a lot of loving, and play time.

Why is Oreo Being Rehomed?

We have a little girl that is allergic to him. No it can’t be fixed with medication, she has breathing problems around him. We will not keep our dog outside, since it’s was to hot for him and that’s no life for a loving dog. We want to find a loving home for him. Someone that will give he alot of attention, and have patience with him.
