Hi, My name is Aimee!
I am a very pretty female Chihuahua mix looking for a loving home with people I can cherish, and who will love me back. I am 11 years young, healthy, spayed and up to date on my shots. I weigh 21 pounds – not too big, and not too small. I am a quiet, sweet natured lap dog and I LOVE everyone. I live in San Jose, CA.

I’m such a great companion. I love to be a part of everything that is going on, and life in general makes me very happy and joyful. I am happy to help you fold the laundry, make dinner, or just relax on the couch watching Animal Planet. I have plenty of energy when we go for walks, and I always make a big show of greeting you at the door when you come home – even if you have only been gone a minute or two!
My owner loves me so very much. She wants what is best for me, and unfortunately all of my people work very long hours, leaving me to spend way too much time on my own. I am such a loving, people oriented dog that this is not a good situation for me. I thrive on having affection and attention from my humans, so I am really missing that and feeling quite lonely.
My owner is hoping to find me a wonderful home with some dog lovers who are home for at least part of the day to spend time with me. I am a really special dog and deserve to have someone who can spend more time with me than I get now. I get along with other dogs and cats, so even if you have another pet, you can be assured that I will get along well with them.

Here is what my owner loves the very most about me:
1. she shows everyone affection
2. she gets excited about her walks and can walk all day and never get tired
3. she wants to be part of every household activity
4. she loves to sit in my lap
5. she greets me every time I walk in the door
Please offer me a loving, forever home today. I can’t wait to show you what a sweet, quiet, well-behaved and devoted little dog I am. I am definitely a dot that will leave tiny paw prints on your heart.
To find out more about me, please call my pet rehoming coordinator, Debbie Moore, at (888) 720-3322 or submit our meeting request form below.
Love and licks,
Aimee

Aimee’s Current Home Environment
low-key and generally quiet
Aimee’s Current Family:
There are three of us at home, all adults and working long hours, so Aimee is home alone all day.
Aimee’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Aimee’s favorite food is lettuce. Believe it or not, she goes nuts every time we have salad.
She does not get attached to toys.
Her favorite activity is hiking.
Why is Aimee Being Rehomed?
Aimee is left home alone all day and it is breaking my heart. She would be so much happier with a family with small children or an elderly couple who can give her the attention she needs.
Aimee’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
I think a family with small children or an elderly couple or person would be ideal.
