Dennis is a Male Chihuahua Jack Russell Terrier Mix Dog for adoption to a very loving home in or near Oceanside, CA. This very special Dog is 12 years old and weighs 16 pounds.

Dennis is being placed for adoption by owner for the following reason:

Multiple reasons unfortunately, his aggression has gotten worse because I work so much and he’s alone a lot. He won’t let walkers take him and I work 60+ hours a week. I am also moving to Pennsylvania and my home will have a 4 year old and he will absolutely bite her and has recently bitten two people. Also, due to Covid, I can’t afford his medical expenses. His tooth recently fell out and I can’t take him to the vet because I’ve been out of work a lot this last year. He needs more than I can give.

My ex adopted Dennis as a surprise and also to save him from euthanasia. Fast forward 7 years later, it’s been just Dennis and I got almost two years.

Dennis’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

He loves stuffed animals he can pull the stuffing out of and running around with you. His favorite snacks are romaine lettuce, fruit, veggies and fish. He loves hiking and going on super long walks. He also could happily lay on the couch with you all day.

Why is Dennis Being Rehomed?

Dennis’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A single-family home or a couple without cats or children would be best. He fares well at home during a workday, is willing to go into a backyard by himself to go potty and also knows how to use puppy pads. A home without children is an absolute must being that he is child aggressive. He would be great with another small to medium dog or just Byam self and her family, that likes to go on hikes and doesn’t take him to large crowded areas. He’s also Will happily hang out at home all day with you as well.

I just want to find a home for him to be happy. I am devastated to make this choice and i want him to be safe and happy.
