Louie is good with people of all ages, and is also good with dogs and cats. Small children may inadvertently become “bowling pins”, so he may not be suited to a family with young children until he is a year or so older.

Louie is a typical Labrador Retriever puppy; he’s a big ole goof, stubborn, full of energy, a bit of a “bull in a china shop” and more than a bit of a pain in the butt. And like most Lab puppies, he is also adorable, endearing, smart, funny, and working on becoming a much more sensible version of himself – something that almost always happens when these amazing dogs reach around 2 years of age.
Louie’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished puppy. They did not realize just how intense caring for a baby Lab can be. With busy work and home schedules, carving out time to work with Louie, in addition to reacting to the ruckus he makes, has proven to be exhausting. They are hoping to find a new home for Louie where this special puppy will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life. He will do very well in a home with seasoned Labrador Retriever lovers who understand and are prepared for the rigors of raising a Lab puppy.
Louis will be rehomed with all supplies and veterinary records. He is looking for a home in which all of his needs can be met, and where he will be loved unconditionally while get grows up and into the best family companion imaginable. Adopt sweet Louis the Lab puppy today!

Louie is a sweet dog, but very active and sometimes anxious. He can be needy and overly friendly. He has been through a professional training course and knows his commands, but can be stubborn.
He is a beautiful and loving dog, but we are not up to the challenge of keeping up with him – we are in our 70s and probably should not have adopted him. we love him very much, but ours is not the best home for him. He will be happier with a younger family with more patience.
