Hank is one of those dogs that can amaze you with his intelligence and devotion. He is such a good boy – always up for adventure, but content to laze around on a hot day. He’s so well behaved and well trained that he will wait for you at the back door when he needs to “use the lawn”. He truly is a great companion and has given his owners 5 wonderful years of love and devotion.
Unfortunately, Hank can be very anxious around small children. With the addition of a new family member, his owners are having to make the very difficult decision to find a home for him where there are no small children. They are hoping to find a new home for Hank Jr where he will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy.

Shy/timid towards strangers. Loves going on walks and hikes. Loves treats. Relaxed and lazy at home, loves sleeping in his bed. Potty trained, waits at back door to be let outside. Loves ear scratches. Good with cats. He is ok to be left alone to roam the house. We have crated him. He does not like being confined to small spaces.
Why is Hank Jr Being Rehomed?
Our dog Hank Jr. is a Australian Cattle Dog mix, and weighs about 35lbs. He is 6 or 7 years old. We adopted him in 2017. We have enjoyed his company for 5 years and love him very much. But unfortunately we can no longer keep him in our home. He has never been great around kids or strangers. We just had our 1st child recently and Hank is anxious around the baby. We want him to be happy in a child-free home.
