Bella and Baby are the world’s most affectionate dogs! This “tag team of cuteness” are looking for love – lots of it, all the time!

If you have been thinking about adding some canine companionship to your home in the form of two adorable Chihuahua mixes, these sweet girls are for you!

Bella and Baby would be the perfect choice for a senior or stay at home dog lover. They have never been around children or cats, but get along very well with other dogs. The girls have such cute markings – one looks like a miniature German Shepherd; the other like a tiny Doberman Pinscher.

Bella and Baby live with their foster mom and her 4 dogs. Although she would love to keep this sweet pair of pooches, Bella and Baby just are not getting the high level of love and attention they both need and deserve.

The girls were rescued from a kill shelter where they would have had very little chance of being adopted. They have been loved and nurtured throughout the past year, and are ready to add immeasurable love, joy, laughter and companionship to the life of their new owner.

Both girls are spayed, up to date on shots and very healthy. They will be rehomed with their beds and toys.

Bella and Baby’s Personality

Bella is a bit shy at first, has been in an abuse case, saved her from death row, she needs lots of affection and cuddling.

Baby, loves everyone and wants to be loved in return. Both these girls require LOTS AND LOTS of attention that I can’t give them.

(They are both fosters, saved from Euthanasia, I’ve had over a year cuz I can’t find a good home) They would be dead if it wasn’t for me.

Bella and Baby’s Current Home Environment

I have 4 of my own dogs to care for. We have a HUGE backyard with a doggie door, the dogs run in and out the house and go potty outside, we have NEVER crated them and don’t believe in crates as we house train our dogs and they sleep in the beds with us, just like companions. Most people in my city, leave their dogs outside 24/7 and I refuse to let my fosters live like that!!!! Its only me and my Mother in this house, no kids, no men. The dogs love each other and all get along. They have lots of toys to play with and are spoiled rotten. They live a perfect life.

Bella and Baby’s Current Family:

Its just me and my Mom in this big house, we rescue dogs and foster them, but can no longer as these two fosters have been stuck with us for over a year. Nobody wants little chi mixes in this city as they are overpopulated and killed on a daily basis in the shelter. I have tried many other rescue pages and this is a last resort.

Bella and Baby’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Bully sticks, stuffed animals, running around outside and sleeping.

Cute Bella and Baby Story:

When I saved them from Euthanasia minutes before being killed, they both looked at me and had this look I will never forget… It was that look “thank you” the blonde one Bella had dug her head into my chest and started crying…It made me cry like a little girl. They were so thankful.. they knew that I saved them..

Why is Bella and Baby Being Rehomed?

I would love to adopt my fosters, but I just can’t give them enough attention they deserve and need from me, as I also have 4 of my OWN dogs to care for that have been felling left out, because it took me along time to get Bella to open up as she was saved from an abuse case, she was shut down when I first got her. I just went over my head and thought they would only be with me for a short time until they get adopted, I was wrong. Every family I have met, only wanted one over the other and I just can not separate them, they are very bonded as they were both in the same kennel at the shelter. Other rescues in my area claim they are all “full” and have no space. My city is one of the worst cities for killing animals. (San Antonio), there are over 200.000 strays downtown alone. People in this area only want the “purebred” dogs, not mixes or shelter dogs which apply to my fosters. I honestly just want them to find the perfect forever home that can give them all the attention and love they deserve. They deserve the best as they have been through a lot. I want them to be happy and not crying at my feet for attention. I can no longer do it… 🙁

Bella and Baby’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Definitely someone who loves dogs and has had dogs in the past/present. Someone who treats them as loving companion and keeps the dogs inside not outside. Someone who will understand it will take a while for my fosters to get used to a new environment and will not freak out if they may have an accident in the house. Someone who will not crate them, as they will freak out and shut down. Someone who is patient and has lots of time on their hands and doesn’t work 24/7.
As mentioned earlier these two special girls want, crave and NEED lots of attention and affection. Think of a cat that always rubs on your legs, Thats how they are. I would prefer them to go to a home with small dogs, not big. They will be scared of a bigger dog and cats I’m not sure. They have never been around cats or kids.
