Nyx – Black and White DSH Cat For Adoption in Brooklyn NY

Nyx’s Personality

Nyx was born in my old apartment so is very used to people and is friendly towards everyone. There has not been a single person who she displayed aggression towards. She is also very obedient for a cat and is good at following house rules (no jumping on shelves with delicate objects or kitchen tables). She does not meow excessively and is an easy going, calm cat. The only thing to really watch out for is her tendency to beg for food with new people; she will try to meow for food until she knows that her “crying” will not work. My roommates have fallen for this many times so she learned that she can meow with new people. Otherwise, she does not try this with me or anyone after this “trial period”.

Nyx has not had the chance to see children/babies or other animals yet so I cannot comment on her ability to cohabitate with them.

Why is Nyx Being Rehomed?

I received a job offer abroad and will not have the ability to transport or house her in a different country. None of my friends and family are in a position to take Nyx into their homes.
