Black Cat For Adoption Laguna Hills CA 2

Hi, My name is Bono!

Black cat for adoption laguna hills ca 2

I am a stunningly handsome, velvet-coated black cat currently living in Laguna Hills, California. The thing that distinguishes me the most from my fellow felines is that I simply love U2. Put on some of my favorite Bono tunes and I will purr loud and proud!

I have a great sense of humor, too. I am playful and always smile at your jokes (even the really bad ones!). I come when I am called and am really more like a dog or your best friend.

I am totally fearless. I am happy to greet any and all guests to your home and make them feel welcome and appreciated. I do funny things that will make everyone laugh, and my owner says I am really a lot like a dog.

So why is a great cat like me being rehomed? I have diabetes and need to have Insulin given to me on a very regular schedule. My owners are not able to keep up with the schedule  because of their work schedules requiring regular travel, and they are very worried that my health will suffer as a result. They love me very much, and this is a very difficult decision for them to make. They feel that with my need for care, they really have no choice.

They are hoping to find a cat lover who has a less busy schedule who will be willing to welcome me into their heart and home. I am such a good cat and I really deserve to be cherished and properly cared for.

My insulin shots are easy to give and I am very good about staying still when I get them. I need my shots every 12 hours to keep me healthy. I know it is probably a lot to ask for, but is there a cat lover out there who would be able to take me in, love me, and give me the care I need?

Please offer me a great home today. I can’t wait to meet you and show you what a great cat I really am. Let’s put on some U2 and party!

Love and purrs,

Bono the Cat

Bono’s Personality

how fearless he is and immediately wins over any new visitors. He seems to have a sense of humor. he responds to snapping your fingers and typically runs out from wherever he is if you call.

Bono’s Current Home Environment

He’s lived in a variety of circumstances. living in an apartment with a revolving door of roommates and visitors in his first year, then crammed into a one bedroom with 2 other cats and my wife-to-be. Then a quiet house with me and my wife two other cats and a dog. He’s ridden in a car to Texas for 2 years and then back to CA.

Bono’s Current Family:

Just a couple in a quiet house the last few years, two other cats and a dog

Bono’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

climbing his cat tree. chasing laser pointers. loves boxes. loves kneading on blankets. loves following walking feet.

Cute Bono Story:

He’s got a funny personality for sure. I’m surprised I cant think of a specific funny story, but I’ve known him for so long. It still amuses me how content he seems to be under a plastic laundry basket cruising around a hardwood floor like he’s driving some sort of tank. We used to tell people we had 3 cats and a dog, but the dog thinks she’s a cat and a cat thinks he’s a dog. Bono is that cat-dog.

Why is Bono Being Rehomed?

It’s his regular scheduled need for insulin. We’ve tried over the last year, but our work often calls us away for a day or 2, or it’s nearly impossible sometimes to be home every 12 hours. Our living situation is changing recently for the indefinite future and it’s going to be all but impossible. We’ve been lucky to get cat sitters on short notice, but financially and logistically, we’ve just been lucky.

Bono’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Bono craves attention. I imagine a loving family with kids that want to play with him, or a dog to buddy up with. His insulin shots are so easy to give, but i’d want him to be somewhere that could stay on his regular schedule and give him all the attention he craves.

Additional Comments:

I can understand if a family or new owner wants him all to their-selves. I would have no intention of interfering with that if they have no interest. I would welcome the invitation though. It would be nice to see where he ends up and I’d love to see pictures once in a while. I’d be open to any arrangement as long as he’s in a loving home that can care for him better than I.
