Once she gets to know you, she is very sweet. She seeks your attention, likes to cuddle, she lets you do anything to her even if she doesn’t really like it (like taking a shower) because she trusts you.
She is very active and playful, likes going on walks.
Kouture has a lot of anxiety towards people she has not met, and other dogs. She has been through a lot in her short life, including having a litter of puppies at a very young age. With love and LOTS of patience, these issues may be something she can overcome, but for now, she really needs a quiet, country home with just one or two people who don’t get many visitors. She tends to bark at things, so being in a quiet, country setting seems like the best

Cute Kouture Story:
Kouture is just a little puppy that for her 10 months went through so much. When I adopted her, I didn’t know she was pregnant. When I go to work, I usually put the camera on and watch her through it and sometimes talk to her. One day, I saw she was coming to the camera a lot, and then even knocked it down, so I stopped seeing what’s going on.
I came home and saw two puppies in the apartment. By the end of the night, we had 8.
No one knew she was pregnant. I went with her to the vet 3 times, one of which was just a few days before she went in labor. The vet didn’t notice anything.
Since then, she was taking care of 8 puppies even though she is still a puppy herself. And she did an incredible job. All the puppies survived. She fed them, she cleaned them, and she was teaching them how to be dogs.
She is an incredible mom.
Why is Kouture Being Rehomed?
I’ve been taking care of 9 puppies for the past two months, and I’m at the point of complete exhaustion. Kouture unfortunately needs a lot training and attention, which I’m just not able to provide her with. I did everything I could for her and for all her puppies so they could have a good life, but I’m not able to do this anymore.
Some of the other reasons are her behavioral problems. The way she barks, her being anxious and stressed, the way she treats strangers. I know all of these problems are solvable, but I don’t have the resources for this anymore.
Kouture’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Just someone with resources and environment (money and time) to give her the training, activity, and attention she needs.
