Lucy and Savannah’s Personalities

Both dogs are sweet. Lucy is more anxious than Savannah. Both dogs become anxious around strangers. They’re barking can definitely scared of strangers.

I do not know how the dogs would be with older children. They seem to ignore the baby but I do not let them stay around the baby so I’m not sure. Lucy is generally OK with other dogs. Younger dogs can get on Savannah’s nerves. I’m only sure about their behavior around adults that they get to know. I have not seen them interact with other animals outside of dogs.

Why are Lucy and Savannah Being Rehomed?

They are my son-in-law‘s dogs. My son-in-law went to rehab for a few months and has come back but does not plan to come get his dogs. He has asked me to find a place for them. I have a 16-month-old baby at the house and two other dogs. I have to keep the dogs separate and I keep the dogs away from the baby. We are not set up to be able to take care of 4 dogs especially two dogs that we have not raised and that know our family.
Our neighbors are not happy with us because of all the barking. We live too close to our neighbors to have dogs that bark so much. There is a lot of coming and going at our house and at our neighbors’ houses so they bark pretty much all day long.
