She knows she is drop-dead gorgeous, and has that “Calico personality”. Ella wants attention and affection on her terms, when in the mood. She does not suffer fools, and has little, if any patience for the new feline additions to her home.

Like many feline Divas, Ella loves to sing. She can reach the high notes with ease, and has a vocal style reminiscent of Whitney Houston, with a hint of Barbra Streisand. She composes her own songs, too – such a talented creature she is!
Ella enjoys basking in sun rays while bird watching from her favorite window. It’s a good spot for surveying her Queendom and making sure that the other cats are far away from her. She dreams of having a home and humans of her own that she doesn’t have to share with other cats. She wants an owner who is on the same wavelength as Ella. A “psychic” owner who will know when Ella wants to be loved on, and when to to leave her the Heck alone. Ella doesn’t think this is too much to ask! 🙂
Ella was left behind when her owner moved and could not take her along. She is currently being cared for by his ex, but this was to be only a temporary situation. Ella deserves a home where she can be the center of attention for one or two adult cat lovers. She deserves to be cherished and kept safe, happy and healthy for the remaining years of her life.

Ella’s Personality
She is mostly independent – she likes to go outside and sunbathe or chase leaves and critters. She is very territorial over the back yard – howls at other cats that have come through.
She can be very affectionate at times, but she will also let you know when she wants to be left alone. She is VERY vocal and has a classic “calico” personality. Ella gets along fine with my dog but he mostly leaves her alone.
Why is Ella Being Rehomed?
This was my ex’s cat that I kept because he couldn’t take care of her. I have never really bonded well with her. We got kittens 18 months ago and she has been aggressive towards them, so we keep them separate. She spends her days outside and we let her in at night when the younger cats are in their room. She will howl or scratch the windows to be let in if left outside.
Ella would be happier in a home where she is the only pet. She can be quite territorial, and really doesn’t appreciate having to share her home, or her humans.
