Meet Darla and Dora!
Darla, 10, is a purebred Pomeranian, and Dory, 5, is her bonded best buddy, a sweet Mini Australian Shepherd mix. Both girls are looking for a home together in the Nashville TN area.
When it comes to lovable lap dogs, they don’t come any more adorable or cuddly than us! We are a bonded set of canine cutie-pies; a sweet 10 year old purebred Pomeranian (Darla), and an amazing 5 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd mix.
Even though we are different ages and breeds, we love each other very much. We have been together since Dora was a puppy, and really want to stay that way.
We are both spayed, up to date on shots, house broken and very well behaved. We are people loving sweethearts, and our favorite activity is being the center of our owners world. We are both very healthy. Darla has had 4 idiopathic (no cause determined) and very mild seizures during her life, but she has a clean bill of health and does not require treatment or testing. Our owner will provide our new family with complete veterinary records.
Our owner loves us so very much. It breaks her heart to have to find us a new home, but she realizes that her life has changed, and she does not have to time to give us the love and attention we need and deserve. The demands of parenting a baby have taken over in our home, and, unfortunately, we have become an afterthought, instead of her focus. She is hoping to make our lives better by finding us the perfect home where all of our needs will be met and we will be cherished for the rest of our days.
Our ideal home will be with empty nesters, retired or semi-retired adults with lots of time to devote to our care. We want to be nestled in your lap – not waiting in the window for you to come home. We are easy-care dogs that don’t require a lot of exercise. We would love to have a securely fenced back yard to explore, but our biggest need is human companionship.
