Meet Brody and Dixie – Bonded German Shepherds For Adoption in Marietta GA

Looking for German Shepherds for adoption near you? Brody and Dixie are best friends. This special pair of older German Shepherd dogs are looking for a new home in or near Marietta GA.

Brody is a large male German Shepherd. He weighs 95 pounds and is 9 years young. He is a healthy dog that has been neutered and is up to date on shots. Brody had surgery for Spinal Stenosis in 2017 and recovered well. He is a little stiff, but does just fine.

Dixie is a large female German Shepherd. Weighing 100 pounds, Dixie has a longer coat in shades of silver and black. She is absolutely gorgeous, and her personality is equally amazing. She is really good with respectful children, as is Brody. The two have spent time playing and cuddling their owner’s grandchildren. They are all-around wonderful dogs – such  nice examples of the German Shepherd breed.

Their owner is sad to have to rehome these precious dogs. She is making a move into a seniors community in Marietta GA, and they have a 25 pound limit for dogs. She is dearly hoping to find the dogs a home close-by, where they will be cherished and kept safe, happy and healthy.

Catherine is willing to pay for the dogs expenses, including food, treats and veterinary care for the years they have left. She would very much love to be able to visit the dogs occasionally, but only if that is OK with their new family. Above all, she wants a home where Brody and Dixie will be loved and given the attention they deserve.

If you have room in your heart and home for these two very special German Shepherd dogs, please contact their Rehoming Coordinator,  Debbie Moore at Pet Rehoming Network. Text or call  (888) 720-3322.   Adopt Dixie and Brody today.

calm manner, she blends in — doesn’t need a lot of attention, she loves her treats, she will eat all of the dog food if you let her, she comes when you call her name, gentle

Dixie’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A home with a retired person or couple, but at least not young people only. Families with older children. Dixie can be left alone in the house and never tear up anything. Additional Comments:

I am willing to pay medical expenses for these dogs. I will also continue to pay for their food and treats. I order it from Chewey and have it delivered. I would just change the address to new owners, but have it billed to me.
