Just 6 months old and weighing about 45 pounds, this deserving puppy is looking for a loving forever home anywhere within a reasonable distance of San Antonio.
Ari combines the best qualities of two exceptional family dog breeds; the German Shepherd and the American Pit Bull Terrier. He’s very smart, eager to please you, super affectionate and always full of joy. He will grow up to be the best family dog ever.
Ari is what we call a “ready-to-love” puppy. This adorable adoptable German Shepherd Pitbull Mix Dog has already been house broken and crate trained. He is also fixed and up to date on his vaccinations – all you need to do is give him lots of love, care, companionship, and some daily activity.
Ari could be America’s “Canine Good Will Ambassador” – he gets along well with everyone, including people of all ages (including babies and toddlers), and is great with other dogs and sensitive to the needs of his cat friends. Ari has never met a person or critter he didn’t like. What a great dog!
Ari’s Back Story
Ari was abandoned by his original owner at his current guardian’s Grandson’s workplace. Grandma Barbara has given Ari a wonderful home, but has developed severe dog allergies that make living with Ari very difficult for her. She loves him to pieces, and wants the very best for Ari. She is hoping to find a loving family who will cherish and appreciate Ari for the great gift that he is – a constant source of love, joy, laughter and companionship to all who have the pleasure of spending time with him.

Ari’s Personality
Ari is very sweet tempered. Follows most commands – sit, no, shake. He is house broken and kennel trained. He was good with my 4 year old grandson when he visited. Ari wants to play with cats but they don’t feel the same way. He has not showed any aggressive behavior. We are working to get him walking on leash. He is not very vocal. Overall, Ari is very chill.
Why is Ari Being Rehomed?
A woman left him at my grandson’s workplace and he brought him to my home. She refused to take him back after telling my grandson she would if it didn’t work out. My daughter is extremely allergic.
