This amazing Great Pyrenees mix dog is in good health, aside from a bit of stiffness in his hips. Auggie loves to run and play. He adores children, although he might inadvertently topple a toddler with his “Bull in a China Shop” clumsiness. With kids 8 and up, Auggie would be in Heaven.

Auggies owners love him so much. Unfortunately, their small house and yard is just not suitable for a big dog that needs plenty of exercise and fresh air. They are dearly hoping to find Auggie a home with a family with older kids, and a great big back yard (or a farm or acreage would be perfect). Above all, they want a great family who will cherish Auggie and provide him with all the love, attention, nutrition, care and exercise this giant Golden Retriever mix dog needs and deserves.

Auggie will be rehomed with supplies and veterinary records. He is a “ready-to-love” dog and can’t wait to meet his forever family. If you have room in your heart and home for this 80 pound bundle of unconditional love, please offer Auggie a home today.

Auggie’s Personality

Auggie is a sweet giant. He’s loves to play. He doesn’t know his own size. He’s great with kids and need lots of attention. He loves water but nots baths. He knows how to sit and shake loves to be brushed but runs from a leash or tries to play tug-o-war with it. He’s very friendly but protective of his property

I have grown attached to Auggie and I hate that we can’t keep him. I just feel he would be happier in a different home. Somewhere he could get the training and attention he needs. Along with a large yard to play in. He would also do well with a submissive dog to play with.

Why is Auggie Being Rehomed?

We have a small house and yard. Auggie needs room to run. He also isn’t getting along with my other animals ( cat and little dog). I got him for my daughter. She ended up moving and can’t take him with her.
